Fare thee well [part2]

Having lived with Anne these past few months and known her for 5 years, I am impressed with her talent for painting and making it look effortless and FUN! I've always wanted to paint a painting, but never had the materials and opportunity... as some of you may know, painting is not a basic skill, usually when you take an art class the instructor always teaches drawing first and then colouring with colour pencils or water colours... I never got the chance to do a real painting on canvas, so I was determined to do a painting while living with Anne, and she was such a wonderful person to lend me the use of all her tools and paints! I took photos of the process to document my first painting!

(left to right): Anne drew an outline for me, the first night painting, my painting area... =D

The Second night of painting, see I finished the green at the bottom and also added in some silver paint on the blanket.

Ta-Da!

I left the people's body and features till last as I was not at all confident....but it turned out ok... but you can probably deduce that the woman is feeling really cold as she's blue... hehehe...
but I do have to say that I am happy with her face... I was really scared to do her face as I tried to draw people before and it didn't turn out that well (it was supposed to be my dad and he ended up looking like a dog with big ears and a pointy nose...)
