Rediscovering Hong Kong with visiting friends and family (Part II)

Mother's Day came upon us again, and it's been years since I've celebrated with my mom. Not only do I get to give my mom a present this year, but my grandma (popo) and aunt (yiyi) were in HK as well. My cousin and I did some last minute shopping, as they were going to Beijing during Mother's Day weekend, so that we can celebrate in advance.

In the end, we got our moms passport and travel document holders from Kate Spade, really pretty colours (orange & pink or blue and beige) and leather. Then we got our grandma a coin purse from Coach.

Look at how prettily the gifts were wrapped!!!!

We had a fun time because it was a total surprise to our moms and grandma, we walked into the house with our huge Kate Spade bags and my aunt thought we had blown a lot of money a purse or something and she kept asking us to see what we bought. Thankfully, dinner was almost ready and I got everyone to eat first and we took their minds off the bags.

After dinner, my aunt, who probably never really forgot about the Kate Spade bags asked again, and so we brought it out, like we were going to show them what we bought....... for them!

Mothers - Do they look alike?

Afterwards, I slept over at the place that my relatives were staying at, and on the way, while we were waiting for the bus, we saw these teens playing with remote control buses.... you've probably seen little kids playing remote control toy cars, but this is the first time we saw people playing with buses, and the funny/cool thing is that they were playing in the bus terminal where were waiting for our bus!

left: playing behind the real thing, right: the bus on the bus... hehehe...
