The Alien Hair Curling Machine

Recently, I've been thinking of getting my hair cut, need a little change.... although I already know that no matter what kind of style I get my hair cut, I usually end up tying it up anyways.... but my mom went to get her hair cut so I tagged along and got a trim. I guess the hair dresser was feeling a little guilty for charging me the same price as my mom's haircut and so he offered to curl my hair.....

My surprise when instead of the usually curling iron, he asked his assistant to pull out this machine with arms like an alien or some kind of octopus/squid.... hehehe... and then they started rolling my hair to this machine..... I couldn't help myself and took some photos of the machine attached to my head!

I know this may be really common now in Asia, but I haven't seen anything like this since I last had my haircut in Toronto... =)

Seriously this was so funny looking! And the curls came out too tight, but they said that if I didn't wash my hair for two or three days the curls will stay like that. The curls loosened a bit that day so it looked a little better, I definitely looked a lot more grown up with them.... hahaha... and that night I decided to not wash my hair and see what it would look like the next day.... the curls were just as tight as when they were first done!
